Indigo Grass

This small, indigo grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, bronze spikelet.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
