Coppergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized, copper grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, red tail.
During the late summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
