Burgundy Grass

This short, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 5 pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are robust.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, drab blue flower.

During the early autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of giant grains.
