Copper
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This modest-sized tree grows up to 50 meters (164.1 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 192 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a very thick, straight trunk covered in rough, mahogany-coloured bark, and inside, the dense wood is white.
The thin clumps of branches are long, thin and wispy and are covered with copious amounts of smooth, small, very thick leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are copper and lilac.
In early spring, it produces thick bunches of giant, sky blue blossoms with stiff, pointed petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a weak scent that smells like apple.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, pastel yellow, tough-shelled seeds.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
