Copperleaf

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 50 feet (15.2 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is copper, and is dotted with small hazel spines. The knobbly leaves are lime on the sides and dark brown at the center. Copious amounts of them grow on stumpy, pink-red branches that are short stubs. The leaves are resistant, but detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 15 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are orange on the edges and sky blue at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of 17 raised, narrow petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like coffee.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the lilac flesh is sticky, and the sky blue sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
