Flower type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is thin and splits into dozens of branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the tiny, brown leaves are slender, pointed with jagged edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
A single tiny flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with solid white petals decorated with peach lines and a copper central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 petals. They are very delicate.
It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like a damp log, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind and is ignored by most insect species.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
