Blueleaf

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 85 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous sturdy, wavy stems covered in fine, wrinkled, light brown bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.

The branches are short and slender with thousands of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of huge, wispy, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are dark brown and sky blue, frail and waxy.

In early summer it produces copious amounts of medium-sized, blood red flowers with asymmetrical petals. They fall easily and have a delicate scent that smells like rotten eggs.
