Violet vine

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 47 feet (14.3 meters) and growing as high as 145 feet (44.2 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 4 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The wispy, crispy leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are gold and violet, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many bunches of tiny yellow flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of small seed pods.
