Orangegrass

This big, orange grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are light and frail and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, brown tuft.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.
