Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In heathlands.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very flimsy.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores.
