Copper Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 25 feet (7.6 meters) and growing as high as 937 feet (285.6 meters).

It takes 3 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The shield-shaped, fuzzy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are copper and beige, and have irregular edges.


The sap is edible and slightly sweet.
It comes in 5 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
