Burgundy Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters)0. It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 5 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and waxy.

The stiff, pointed, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are solid cream or caramel, with cyan dots, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a thick sheet of tiny purple flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces lots of very large berries.

It blooms only at night.
