Silvervine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 9 feet (2.7 meters) and growing as high as 159 feet (48.5 meters).
It takes 2 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.
The pleated, soft leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are light brown and caramel, and have irregular edges.
During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of large aquamarine flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.
