Amber Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 30 feet (9.1 meters)0. It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 2 years for the orange stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The perforated, rough leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are amber and silver, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces dozens of large purple flowers.

It blooms only at night.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
All parts of the shrub are edible.
