Coppervine

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 46 feet (14.0 meters)0. It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 4 years for the brown stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The very thin, leathery leaves reach up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) in length. They are either gold, or dark brown with copper patches, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of small crimson flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny fruits.
