Violetleaf

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 98 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many very thick, slanted stems covered in hard, rough, brown bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

The branches trail down to the ground that and are covered with large amounts of giant, wispy, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either dark brown or violet, with blood red patches, delicate and waxy.

In early spring it produces several medium-sized, lime flowers with fan-like petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a weak scent that smells like cherry.
