Copper

This large flower grows up to 3.2 feet (97 cm) tall. Its gray-green stems grow in bunches of 7 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the huge, copper leaves are pleated with rounded edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

6 to 11 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 22 cm (8.7 inches) wide, with pink petals and an olive central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like lavender, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
