Blazevine
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 737 feet (224.6 meters).
It takes 8 months for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.
The very thick, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are grey at the bottom and light grey with purple dots at the top, and have ripped edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces many small red flowers.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is extremely resistant to fire damage.
