Coppergrass

This short, copper and grey grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, pale purple puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.
