Coppervine

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 63 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has many slender, straight stems covered in delicate, cracked, brown bark, and the wood inside is light brown.

The branches trail down towards the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of miniature, circular, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are copper at the bottom and gold with vibrant orange patches at the top, delicate and smooth.

It produces thick bunches of small, turquoise flowers with spear shaped petals. They are hardy and have a strong scent that smells like meat. In late winter it forms largegreen, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
