Bloodgrass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This massive, gray-green grass grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thin clumps that are strong and tough.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, blood red puff.

During the early autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few giant grains.

The leaves are excellent for making pulp fibers.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
