Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 65 feet (19.8 meters).

It takes 3 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are tough and woody.

The broad, flat, fuzzy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are either magenta or lilac, with silver streaks, and have tattered edges.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
It can flourish even in standing water.
