Aquamarine

This large bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 51 feet (15.5 meters) and growing as high as 27 feet (8.2 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 5 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are tough and woody.

The triangular, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are found in red and aquamarine varieties, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of small white flowers.
