Caramel

This enormous bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,003 feet (610.5 meters) and growing as high as 362 feet (110.3 meters).

It takes 22 years for the olive and caramel stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3.7 feet (1.1 meters) and are rough and gnarled.

The very thick, leathery leaves reach up to 3.6 feet (1.1 meters) in length. They are copper and green, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces bunches of small blue flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of tiny berries.
