Amber

This small leaf succulent grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The fan-like stem is cream, and is covered in handfuls of flexible light brown spines. The irregular-edged, broad, flat leaves are amber and silver. Copious amounts of them grow from the base like a cabbage. The leaves are flimsy, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is very fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of silver, grow at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. It has a weak scent that smells like fermented fruit.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the aquamarine flesh is smooth, and the lime sap is thin.
