Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 526 feet (160.3 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 2 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are thick and twisted.

The slender, pointed, waxy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are vibrant blue at the bottom and green with slate streaks at the top, and have wavy edges.

It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It has impressive regenerative properties.
The entire plant is edible and the grains areoverwhelmingly salty.
