Embermoss

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very flexible.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
