Copperberry

This enormous shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 17 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several long and flexible, straight stems covered in cracked, light brown bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches trail down across the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of large, oval-shaped, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are aquamarine on the edges and red at the center, flimsy and leathery.

It produces lots of medium-sized, turquoise flowers with stiff, pointed petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are hardy and have an intensely strong scent that smells like rotten meat. In early autumn it forms smallcopper berries.
