Spiralpine

This average-sized tree grows up to 45 meters (147.6 feet) tall and lives for over 2,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 2206 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a flexible, straight trunk covered in silky, dark green bark, and inside, the flexible wood is pale yellow.

The branches are long and thick, with hundreds of twigs covered with sparse amounts of giant, silver needles. The needles themselves are flimsy.

In late summer it produces large, green aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with clear space between them.
