Creamgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Sheds its leaves in winter)This huge, cream and moss green grass grows up to 24 feet (7.3 meters) tall. The circular stalks grow in thick clumps that are flimsy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, orange flower.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.
The sap causes severe rashes
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
