This small creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 6 feet (1.8 meters) and growing as high as 874 feet (266.4 meters).

It takes 5 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The finger-like, soft leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are copper on the sides and peach at the center, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several large aquamarine flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny fruits.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
