Burgundy Grass

This short, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The spiral stalks grow in sparse patches that are flimsy and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, cream tail.

During the late summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of giant grains.
