Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This large bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 126 feet (38.4 meters) and growing as high as 122 feet (37.2 meters).
It takes 5 years for the orange stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.3 feet (41 cm) and are smooth and waxy.
The very narrow and elongated, fuzzy leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are found in amber and lime varieties, and have rounded edges.
During late spring, the bine produces a handful of colossal grey flowers.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
