Crimson Puffgrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and tough.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, red puff.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
