Black Bindweed
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This enormous bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,344 feet (1,019.3 meters) and growing as high as 830 feet (253.0 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.
It takes 36 years for the black stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1.5 feet (46 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.
The fan-like, clammy leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) in length. They are white on the sides and brown at the center, and have irregular edges.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
