Yellowgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This large, yellow-green grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in large clumps that are strong and tough and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, light yellow spikelet.
During the early summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
It is suitable for making paper
It can flourish even in standing water.
