Bloodgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Sheds its leaves in winter)This modest-sized, green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in thick clumps that are delicate and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, blood red puff.
During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
