Coppervine
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This big flower grows up to 4.8 feet (1.5 meters) tall. Its copper stems grow in bunches of 3 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the small, pink-red leaves are perforated with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.
Two giant flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 40 cm (15.7 inches) wide, with petals that are orange on the underside and magenta on the top. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 49 curved petals. They detach easily.
It has a weak scent that smells like vanilla, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
