Amberactus

This short cactus grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 6 very thin stems. Each stem is yellow-green, and is dotted with small blood red spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 10 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are orange in the center, amber in the middle and amber at the edges grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. It has a powerful scent that smells like candle wax.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the cyan flesh is slimy, and the white sap is thin.
