Bluebell

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 36 feet (11.0 meters) tall. The pleated stem is yellow-green, and is covered in copious amounts of flexible olive spines. The thick, cream trunk can grow to as much as 36 feet (11.0 meters) in diameter. Its gray-green branches are very short, thin and wispy.

The rounded-edged, perforated leaves are solid blue with turquoise edges. They are strong, but detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of lilac, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 55 petals. It has a faint scent that smells like mint.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the copper flesh is smooth, and the pink sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
