Ambergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This modest-sized, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong and tough.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, amber tail.
During the early autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
