Brown Spikegrass

This small, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The spiral stalks grow in large clumps that are strong and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, bold orange spikelet.

During the mid-autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few giant grains.
