Azurevine

This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is thin, and the tiny, gray leaves are stiff, pointed with tattered edges. 4 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with aquamarine petals that gradient shift to azure on the outer edge. The central disk is vibrant blue. The flower head is shaped like a sphere with 55 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They are hardy.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like fermented fruit, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to bees.
