Blueleaf Tree

This modest-sized tree grows up to 22 meters (72.2 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 600 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, angular trunk covered in hard, smooth, light brown bark, and inside, the very dense wood is burgundy.

The small bunches of branches are very long and slender and are covered with copious amounts of soft, large, oval-shaped leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are yellow on the sides and sky blue at the center.

In late summer it forms large, light grey seed pods.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with clear space between them.
