Bluebell

This small flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its sky blue stem is thin, and the tiny, hazel and green leaves are spear shaped with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

Each stem splits 2 to 4 times; a single large flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with petals that are either pink or bold red, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 45 petals. They are hardy.

It has the faintest scent that smells like alcohol, and it has very little pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
