Coppergrass

This small, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, red puff.

During the early autumn, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
