Silver Moss

This light grey moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainy mountain ranges, and In rainforests.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely tough.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores.
