Azure Spined Agave
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This large leaf succulent grows up to 107 feet (32.6 meters) tall. The thick stem is silver or lime, and is dotted with small gold spines. The irregular-edged, wide leaves are solid azure with magenta splotches. Small amounts of them grow from the base like blades of grass. The leaves are durable, but do not detach easily.
It is fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with blue petals on the lower layer and blue petals decorated with copper dots on the inner layer. The central disk is pastel purple grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 16 curved petals. It has a soft scent that smells like pine needles.
The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the cyan flesh is soft, and the blood red sap is thin.
