Crimson Peachtwig

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 46 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of sturdy, straight stems covered in knobbly, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches are very long and thick with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of large, stiff, pointed, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in crimson and peach varieties, delicate and crispy.

In late summer it produces several giant, lilac flowers with stiff, pointed petals. They detach easily and have a fairly strong scent that smells like pot-purri.


Ivy often grows along the trunk.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
