Aquarine Spikevine

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 21 feet (6.4 meters) tall. The perforated stem is red, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible aquamarine spines. The bubbly leaves are found in crimson and peach varieties. Very large amounts of them grow on thick, gray-green branches that are very long and thick. The leaves are flimsy, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 12 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with blue petals on the lower layer and blue petals decorated with copper dots on the inner layer. The central disk is pastel purple grow at the top, reappearing after 6 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 10 petals in raised layers. It has a strong scent that smells like freshly baked bread.

The leaf succulent's skin is rock-hard, the lime flesh is sticky, and the violet sap is thin and can kill if consumed.
